Kris Murray, Jordan Brandman, and the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce have lost their fight to stop a power plant from being built in part of the Santa Ana River flood channel.
I for one am relieved that this plan is moving forward versus the alternative idea of building park space. One only has to visit the site to see that it was inhospitable for park land.
I think what I love the most about this loss for the Pringle's crowd is that they finally may understand how the residents of Anaheim feel every time they speak against their crony capitalism. Now they know what it's like to vehemently oppose something and have it rammed down their throats anyway. Welcome to the real world where no matter what the public wants the elected's do whatever they please.
